Sprout to be a VR Hacker!

The VR Hackathon is back, focusing this time on B2B solutions!

The B2B applications will be targeting the following fields: Health, Commerce, Real Estate, and Data Visualization.  ARE YOU READY TO HACK ?!

The event will hence be a mix between a Hackathon and a Startup Week-end as the purpose is to encourage attendees to take giant leaps toward creating disruptive industries through VR, connecting them with experts and resources.

Organized by the Microsoft Innovation Center Brussels, Impulse’s Software & Screen Clusters as well as EU.VR, the event will be hosted at ICAB, the first business and technology Incubator in Brussels.

We want to create an environment that embraces new ideas and technology solutions for immersive technologies. We know it takes longer than a weekend to build great solutions, but this is ample time to form teams of good people and begin creating great solutions.

This is a call for tech developers, business profiles, industry experts, game programmers, makers, UI/UX designers, artists, animators, storytellers, enthusiasts, professionals, students, and all that want to spend a weekend creating solutions with virtual reality and other immersive technologies.

Thanks to our partnership with BOOST.VC, the grand winning team will be automatically accepted to join the BOOST.VC incubator program and benefit of a 25.000$ investment !

"To begin with, Virtual Reality is a part of computer science and it represents a new approach to computer science. Instead of treating the computer as a box that's out there that is supposed to accomplish something, you put a human being in the center and say, "Let's look at the human being closely. Let's see how people perceive the world or how they act. Let's design a computer to fit very closely around them, like a glove, you might say. Let's match up the technology to exactly what people are good at.""
