VRBASE.amsterdam – open house

Datum: 3 juni 2016 Geschreven door: In:

Venturebeat recently discovered there is something brewing in Amsterdam and wrote: ‘Amsterdam has a variety of superb options like Spaces, but what will raise your eyebrows is that there is even a nascent co-working space dedicated to VR companies called VRBASE. About eight solid startups are currently working together at the base, including Lab4242’.

On the 3rd of July we’ll have open house where you can tour the several buildings of VRBASE at the marineterrein Amsterdam, meet others from the VR community, get demo’s and generally be inspired.

If you want to demo you are more than welcome to do so! Let me know if you want to set-up a demo and use this day to showcase your work to the VR community! Mail me at daan@dutchvrdays.nl to apply for demo space.

This meetup will be the start of new wave of energy in VRNL, so hope to welcome many of you this day at VRBASE.amsterdam!

UITSPRAAK OVER VR

"To begin with, Virtual Reality is a part of computer science and it represents a new approach to computer science. Instead of treating the computer as a box that's out there that is supposed to accomplish something, you put a human being in the center and say, "Let's look at the human being closely. Let's see how people perceive the world or how they act. Let's design a computer to fit very closely around them, like a glove, you might say. Let's match up the technology to exactly what people are good at.""
