VRackathon pitch and collaboration

Datum: 1 maart 2017 Geschreven door: In:

After a successful edition of the first ‘VRackathon’ of this year, it’s time to continue the inspiring vibes. The VRackathon is hosted by VRappstore and will take place at the centre of VR creation, the ‘VRBASE’ in Amsterdam.

The program will have two goals:

– Continue working on earlier presented ideas and startups. Depending on which phase they’re in, there will be worked on further development and practical issues in making the apps successful.

– Pitching and/or presenting new ideas to the VRackathon.

This will be an unique way  to connect with other VR-enthusiasts and hack and work together on questions, challenges and opportunities in developing awesome VR/AR/MR applications. We provide the stage, network and beer, you bring your ideas!

Since we don’t want to fill the entire evening with just presentations, we want to leave enough time for brainstorming and interactive collaboration. Please let us know in advance if you want to present your (new) ideas so we can fit you in the schedule and prepare the proper arrangements. The schedule will be confirmed later on. You can reach us at rick.roelofs@vrappstore.com. See you there!

"To begin with, Virtual Reality is a part of computer science and it represents a new approach to computer science. Instead of treating the computer as a box that's out there that is supposed to accomplish something, you put a human being in the center and say, "Let's look at the human being closely. Let's see how people perceive the world or how they act. Let's design a computer to fit very closely around them, like a glove, you might say. Let's match up the technology to exactly what people are good at.""
