Cologne VR Meetup #16

Datum: 20 april 2017 Geschreven door: admin vr.nl In:

We have a new Location for #16! WHO HO!

The focus of the upcoming MeetUps is “VR/AR Games”. But, of course, not the only talking point in the evening.

At the beginning there is a short review of the successful VR Games 2016/2017 and their background. Then we will hear a talk by Daniel Korgel about his new Pinball VR Controller Project. Finally, we are looking forward to Andreas Hauber. He tells us about the trip from “Viking Rage” into the Steam Store.

And of course the games can be played with some other cool stuff.

CALL FOR DEMOS: Here is your chance! You have a Proof of Concept or you are in the “hot phase” of your Game? No matter! Bring your game and get some feedback from the coolest VR/AR crowd in Germany 😉

UITSPRAAK OVER VR

"To begin with, Virtual Reality is a part of computer science and it represents a new approach to computer science. Instead of treating the computer as a box that's out there that is supposed to accomplish something, you put a human being in the center and say, "Let's look at the human being closely. Let's see how people perceive the world or how they act. Let's design a computer to fit very closely around them, like a glove, you might say. Let's match up the technology to exactly what people are good at.""
