Clock is ticking… Brussels B2B VR Hackathon is in 21 days !

In this regard, for those interested in the potential of VR in Real Estate / Urbanization / data, will unveil you bits of “Brussels in 3D” (under open source licence) + the new CHIREC hospital (inside + outside) currently under construction at Delta. All these assets will be readily available for the VRHackathon & uploadable through your favorite game engine.

Program of this VR afterwork is as follows :

17h30  Welcome
18h00  Presentation of UrbIS 3D Data / Building Information Modelling of the Chirec hospital + CIRB open data portal
18h30  Q&A session (technical questions welcome)
19h00  End, have a nice evening 🙂

Please respond on meetup if you intend to come – try to be on time as we close at 7pm. If any questions, please leave a comment on meetup.

Arts-Loi Metro Station is less than 2 minutes walk from CIRB.

PS: for those interested in Unity workshops, there are still seats available (and a great coached MiCrO-jam the weekend before the VRhackathon).

"To begin with, Virtual Reality is a part of computer science and it represents a new approach to computer science. Instead of treating the computer as a box that's out there that is supposed to accomplish something, you put a human being in the center and say, "Let's look at the human being closely. Let's see how people perceive the world or how they act. Let's design a computer to fit very closely around them, like a glove, you might say. Let's match up the technology to exactly what people are good at.""
