VR LearnAthon. Build a VR experience in 48 hours.

Datum: 6 september 2018 Geschreven door: In:

Welcome to this first 48 hours “binge learning” experience where you will code & deliver a VR experience by Sunday Oct. the 21st 4pm the latest.

This program is tailored to motivated individuals ready to increase their VR tech skills. This is not a start-up weekend, a gentle hackathon nor a linear workshop – but a coding “bootcamp” program organized around exercises, challenges (workshops start at 7am in the morning :-)) & a final delivery by Sunday 4pm. Part of a team or alone, deliver on time & beat this VR LearnAthon !

3 tech will be proposed : WebVR, Unity3D, Blender – chose the one that suits best your future VR projects. Throughout the weekend, we will stick to the Oculus Go (the course will be solely structured around this one).

UITSPRAAK OVER VR

"To begin with, Virtual Reality is a part of computer science and it represents a new approach to computer science. Instead of treating the computer as a box that's out there that is supposed to accomplish something, you put a human being in the center and say, "Let's look at the human being closely. Let's see how people perceive the world or how they act. Let's design a computer to fit very closely around them, like a glove, you might say. Let's match up the technology to exactly what people are good at.""
