Register by mail: AND at Eventbrite (see link) Sensiks is a new company introducing Sensory Reality (SR). We specialize in Sensory Reality hardware and content that provides a unique and immersive full sensory user experience. Sensiks’ flagship product is the Sensory Reality Pod (SRP). It forms a modular system with various components that can activate and stimulate the senses by smell, heat, wind, light, sound and biofeedback. When these forces combine, the multi-sensory effect is highly convincing as participants embark on a virtual journey that can span countries, oceans and galaxies. Inside the SRP is a software module that connects to a library containing all of the available sensory reality content. The platform links all of the SR-Pods together, making it easy to distribute new experiences to customers. Content is extremely diverse, ranging from the entertaining to the practical, as is the case with our therapy-focused modules. SR content is an enhancement of (existing) audiovisual material, ranging from a piece of music to 360 video and interactive VR. Besides making content more immersive and awesome, creators can act as a reseller by joining the growing pool of content creators at Sensiks. Now we have the Experience Builder available to create SR-Apps and experiences. Our CTO Cyril de Vroom will tell you about all ins-and-outs of the art of creating SR experiences and he demonstrates our SDK. There will be Sensory Reality Pods to have the experience yourself. Join our party and you will be granted with being one of the first to receive the SDK and you will be able to play around with it immediately. So bring your greatest 360/VR content and let’s sensify while enjoying some great company and cold beer. See you there!

"To begin with, Virtual Reality is a part of computer science and it represents a new approach to computer science. Instead of treating the computer as a box that's out there that is supposed to accomplish something, you put a human being in the center and say, "Let's look at the human being closely. Let's see how people perceive the world or how they act. Let's design a computer to fit very closely around them, like a glove, you might say. Let's match up the technology to exactly what people are good at.""
